This is a collection of photos I took with my Canon 30d when I first got it. There's a wide array of photos from different places.

I was basically experimenting with the camera at this point, being my first digital after using an Elan II for many years.

I like the way a lot of them turned out, but unfortunately, technically speaking they're a little off. I used too high of an ISO on many of the shots, so they tend to show a bit of noise when blown up. It gives me a good excuse to go back to Maui and retake the photos ; )

Most photos are as is, maybe a slight exposure compensation on some. I didn't use any filters other than the protective UV. They were also taken with my kit lens which I think I pressed to the max.
